Thanksgiving 2012

Standard

I can’t believe this is our 4th holiday season in China.

The nice thing about that is the holidays begin with Thanksgiving (and in our house, LuMing’s birthday in early November), continue past Christmas and the Solar New Year, extending into late Jan or early Feb with the Chinese Lunar New Year and the Lantern Festival 2 weeks later.

We had a fantastic celebration with many good friends all afternoon and evening, but it was a little bittersweet to think of our family back in the US, so far away.
We enjoy Skype and video-chatted with several of our family already, but holiday times are not so easy.

We love you and miss you, dear family and loved ones!!

  1. We miss you all too, very much! Thanks for the pictures to share your day. We love you and think of you every day. All these children are growing so fast! I think I must be getting old!

  2. Thanks for the Thanksgiving pictures and know that we pray for all of you each day! Love, Karen and Bill (We loved our visit with you and your mom when you came home, which seems so long ago. Our cats were kittens:)
