I sometimes struggle with being a tourist and watching (and photographing) people working so very hard.
I especially was humbled by how we buy peanuts for a few Chinese yuan at the market, after somebody spent hours picking, hauling on a yoke through steaming hot 90 degree weather to somewhere and getting paid probably very little for all that effort.
some kind of taffee pulling
the making of a hot salsa
more window art
rice fields sprouting
peanuts and sesame in storage
narrow village road
and we just buy the peanuts for a couple of dollars in a bag, while all this work goes into them!
